Fiddler On The Roof Sabbath Meal (#39)

Our next film was Fiddler On The Roof. This film follows a simple Russian Jewish family, so I decided to base our dinner on the sort of thing that I would imagine they might eat. I tried to keep everything Kosher while also having Russian influences. Our main dish was borscht with sour cream. Other kosher food and snacks were also available, including kosher wine. This film also includes and iconic wedding scene, so for dessert we had something resembling a wedding cake.

Overall, this was a very successful event. Borscht is such a flavorful dish and is completely vegetarian, so it was enjoyed by all of my guests.
