In Search of Castaway Cooking (#27)

This month, the film was In Search Of Castaways. In this film there is a scene where the characters come across some eggs and make omelettes, adding leaves and twigs for flavor. Our meal was based on this concept. We cooked some simple omelettes that we seasoned primarily with salt and herbs. For the rest of the meal, we tried to stick to things that you might be able to find or make from nature. Fruit juice was a key item as well. For dessert, we had fruit crepes.

The eggs, despite being very simple, were a big hit and did a great job of tying the meal with the movie.
